Fits the bill perfectly. Dive diner with character and characters. Fresh coffee with a smile. The daily breakfast special is hard to beat for a great start to the day. Very professional cook at the griddle, eggs scrambled just right and hash browns are sublime.

One of the best meals I've ever had. This is the kind of place the hipster restaurateurs in my city keep trying to replicate, but fail. I don't leave a lot of yelp reviews but am reasonably well traveled (and fed) across three continents. It's rare to find this level of fresh and balance, especially at an awesomely greasy diner. The next time I'm within 50 miles of Davenport I'll go out of my way to return. Meantime, here's something I'd never thought I'd ever put in writing under any circumstances: Try the corned beef. It's outstanding.
